He married (1) MARY ANN FAWCETT September 04, 1838 in Greene Co, OH, daughter of JOSHUA FAWCETT and JANE PICKERING. She was born May 08, 1820 in Belmont Co, OH, and died April 13, 1880 in Arkansas City, Cowley Co, KS. He married (2) MARY HOUSE Aft. 1859.
