Lindley Arnett to Eleanor Jones
Be it Remembered that on the 6th day of April A. D. 1853 the following became Issued out of The Grant Circuit Court To-wit:
Indiana To-wit: Grant County. To all who shall see these presents, Greetings. Know ye that any person legally authorized to solemnize matrimony is hereby licensed to join in marriage as husband and wife Lindley Arnett and Elanor Jones and for so doing this shall be his sufficient authority. In testimony whereof, I James W. Brown, Clerk of the Grant Circuit Court hereunto subscribe my name and office (next words scratched out by author- my name and office) the seal of said Court this 6th day of April 1853.

Be it remembered that on the 9th day of May 1853 the following return was made to this office.
Indiana Court, Grant County. This cerifies that I joined in marriage as husband and wife Lindley Arnett and Elanor Jones on the 7 day of April A.D. 1858
