Gertrude Marie Fienhage Rennenger
May 10, 1887 - July 08, 1924
Gertrude Fienhage married John Jacob Rennenger on July 16, 1907 at St. Mary's Church in St. Benedict, Kansas. To this union were born eleven boys and four girls for a total of 15 children.
One of the boys was named "Francis" and he lived to be about 11 years old. Apparently, he had Spinal Meningitis at the age of 3 months and lived to the age of 9 or 11 years, as a 3 month old baby.
In addition, there were two sets of twins that died at birth, all boys. In total, six children died at birth or shortly thereafter.
Gertrude died of complications of child birth in July of 1924 when she was 37 years of age.
